FANTASY IMPACT WEEK 10

FANTASY IMPACT WEEK 10

It’s your guy here ready to rock and/or roll with you into Week 10, as we see 6 teams on the Bye this week take a spell, with 3 games that contain 6 teams with negative records facing off against each other?

So am I excited? You are darn right I am! I have no problem seeing the Jets and Giants smash the life out of each other (only to be out done by the resident black cat who may turn up). I have no problem in seeing a divisional rivalry in the Lions and Bears who both have a lot to play for. I have no problem within the points bonanza that will be the Cardinals at Tampa this week in what could well be the game of the week.

FANTASY IMPACT – Guys I Will Not Draft This Year (and a couple I will)

Todd Gurley, LAR – It really is a shame that Gurley has this chronic injury issue with the arthritic knee.  It is possible that we have seen Gurley’s best years on the football field already, even though he is only 24 years old.  With that said, it is possible that Gurley could still be productive.  I do not think he will ever be as productive as he was though.  The Rams backfield could become one where Gurley still sees a healthy portion of carries but Malcom Brown and Darrell Henderson play significant roles.  That’s the way the wind is blowing, so if you scoop up Gurley (late), make sure you pick up Brown or Henderson.  For me, I’ll be watching camp closely to see if I can figure out who the true RB2 is, and then I will draft accordingly.

FANTASY IMPACT - Le'Veon Bell to the Jets

Here we are in the middle of the #FreeAgencyFrenzy, which is also the middle of #MarchMadness, which is also in the middle of the first half of the calendar year. Right now, we are in the middle of the offseason, as we are three months away from training camps. All of this is very timely because now marks the end of the Le’Veon Bell and Pittsburgh Steelers standoff - the saga has finally ended! The ‘he said, she said’ garbage is over. Both parties have hopefully moved onto bigger and better things. The inspiring James Conner story (and form) takes over as the lead back in Pittsburgh, and Jaylen Samuels flashed down the stretch to add value to his presence too.
